Air India enters interline partnership with Vistara
Previously, both airlines had entered an Interline Considerations on Irregular Operations (IROPs) agreement, allowing them to transfer both domestic and international customers to each other in the event of a disruption in flight operations involving either airline.
Air India and Vistara have entered into an interline partnership allowing passengers to smoothly move between the two airlines' networks. Passengers will now be able to receive their boarding tickets at the first point of departure for all travel sectors on a single ticket, as well as have their baggage checked in through to their final destinations after this partnership.
According to the press release, the scope of the agreement between the two airlines includes the implementation of Inter Airline Through Check-in (IATCI).
