CCI has sought clarification from these telecom companies by Friday January 20, 2017.

A retired judge of Delhi High Court had filed the petition with CCI accusing the telecom companies for alleged cartelisation harming the quality of services.

In November 2016, Reliance Jio moved CCI against Airtel, Idea and Vodafone for forming a cartel and creating challenges for it to enter the market.

After Jio's entry, the telecom companies have been fighting for market share hence providing huge offers to their customers. Amid the 'price war' the quality of service provided by the telcos has been affected.
