The first motorcycle company in America, Indian Motorcycle has launched its 2018 Roadmaster Elite bike priced at a whopping Rs 48 lakh (ex-showroom). This bike features a custom-inspired dual tone candy paint and also comes with a handcrafted real 23K Gold leaf badging on the tank. Only 300 units of this premium bike will be manufactured globally, of which only two units of the Roadmaster Elite have been allotted for India and both are sold.

 Roadmaster Elite 2018 comes with dual-tone paint job in black and cobalt blue shades and according to the company each unit will be handpainted which takes around 30 hours to complete. It is an arduous and painstaking task.

Notably, the Indian Roadmaster Elite 2018 has a 7-inch touchscreen system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Cruise control and navigation features are also present along with a 300-watt audio system, which will keep the rider entertained for long hours. Other than that the Ride Command infotainment system will keep the rider informed with necessary information all the time. 

The Indian Roadmaster Elite has been designed to maximise rider comfort. There are even armrests for the pillion rider, billet aluminum floorboards and a premium touring console along with pinnacle mirrors. The bike also has a windscreen. Unbelievably, the seats are heated! 

The Motorcycle comes with a 140 litres luggage capacity top box and also features waterproof panniers.

Indian Roadmaster Elite 2018: ENGINE

Indian Roadmaster Elite comes with 1811 cc V-Twin Thunder Stroke engine tuned to produce 150 Nm of peak torque from as low as 2,900 rpm and the motor also has a 6-speed transmission.
 
Suspension duties have telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at rear. The braking duties are handled by dual 300 mm discs up front and a single 300 mm disc at the rear. ABS is offered as standard.
