All the major automarker except Maruti Suzuki have reported rise in their vehicle sales figure in the month of August. The country's largest car maker Maruti, however, reported a 3.4 per cent decline in total sales at 1,58,189 units in August. Mahindra, Tata Motors, and Ford India have registered two digit growth while Hyundai and TVS Motor have reported single digit growth. Check how these automakers have fared in the month of August:

Hyundai
Hyundai Motor India reported a 3.4 per cent increase in total sales at 61,912 units in August. The company had sold 59,905 units in August 2017, HMIL said in a statement. However, its domestic sales fell by 2.8 per cent at 45,801 units in August as against 47,103 in August 2017.

TVS Motor 
Two and three-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor reported 8 per cent rise in sales to 3,43,217 units in August. The Chennai-based company, had recorded total sales of 3,17,563 units during the corresponding month last year. Total two-wheeler sales rose to 3,30,076 units in August from 3,09,146 units sold in same month previous fiscal.

VECV 
VE Commercial Vehicles, a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, reported 32.7 per cent rise in sales in August this year to 6,069 units. The company had posted sales of 4,571 units in August 2017, VE Commercial Vehicles (VCEV) said in a statement.

Tata Motors
Tata Motors reported 27 per cent increase in domestic sales at 58,262 units in August as compared to 45,906 units in the same month last year. Domestic passenger vehicle (PV) sales were up 28 per cent to 18,420 units compared to 14,340 units last year, the company said in a statement.

Ford India 
Ford India reported 31.18 per cent jump in total sales at 20,648 units in August this year. The company had sold 15,740 units in the same month last year, Ford India said in a statement. Domestic sales were 3.40 per cent to 8,042 units last month as against 7,777 in August last year, it said.

Mahindra & Mahindra 
Mahindra & Mahindra reported 14 per cent increase in total sales at 48,324 units in August. The company had sold 42,207 units in the same month last year, M&M said in a statement. In the domestic market, sales were at 45,373 units last month, up 15 per cent, as compared to 39,615 units in August 2017.

Maruti Suzuki
Maruti Suzuki reported 3.4 per cent decline in total sales at 1,58,189 units in August. The company had sold 1,63,701 units in August last year, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said in a statement.
