Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced organisational changes, whereby senior management members are being elevated to key roles. As per the announcement, Tadashi Asazuma, current Executive Vice President, will now serve as Deputy Managing Director – Sales-Service-Used Car TKM & Lexus. And Swapnesh R Maru, previously Executive Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer, will now take up the role of Deputy Managing Director – Corporate Planning, Finance & Administration and Manufacturing.

The decisions are effective from January 1.

The company said that in alignment with Toyota Motor Corporation's recent announcement of the "India, Middle East, East Asia & Oceania" Region creation, where Masakazu Yoshimura, MD and CEO of TKM, was appointed as the Regional CEO, these changes are expected to strategically enhance efficiencies and support India's pivotal role.

Commenting on the announcement, Masakazu Yoshimura, MD and CEO of Toyota Kirloskar Motor and Regional CEO at Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), said, "We at Toyota Kirloskar Motor are extremely pleased to announce the new changes to our senior management structure that is focused on steering the company’s growth plans.
