2018 is almost over and it is time to look forward to a prosperous 2019 which promises a lot. For car lovers, these are exciting times too! Most manufacturers have already announced some exciting vehicles for the coming year. Tata Motors too is seen to line up a list of newbies in passenger cars in 2019. According to CarToq, here is the list of cars which will be launched soon by Tata Motors in 2019.

Tata Harrier
The new Tata Harrier is expected to be launched on January 23, 2019 in India. The 5-seater the first vehicle built on the Omega Arc platform. The car is uniquely designed with separate LED DRLs and headlamp cluster, which is located in the lower section in the bumper. It is powered by the 2.0-litre Multijet engine from Fiat. It generates a maximum of 140 PS and a peak torque of 350 Nm. Tata will reportedly not offer an automatic or 4X4 option with the Harrier at the time of launch.

Tata Pelican
The next big launch of the year by Tata would be Tata Pelican which is also expected to be launched in early 2019. The company is working on the next-generation Tata Nano project codenamed as Pelican. However, it is not confirmed that Tata will bring back the vehicle with a similar price tag as Nano.

Tata Tiago EV
This car was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo and is expected to be launched in mid 2019. The reports say that the car is ready to get into the Indian market. The Tiago EV looks identical to the regular version but under the hood, there are batteries and electric motors. It gets powered by a 40 Bhp electric motor and the torque output is not known yet. Reportedly, Tata Tigor EV can be priced at Rs 8 lakh.

Tata Harrier automatic
Considering there is a great demand for automatic vehicles in the market, Tata Motors plan to also make its Harrier brand in this version later in 2019. Apart from being fully automatic version, this new Harrier will have similar  2.0-litre diesel engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Tata Nexon JTP
Tata Nexon JTP is seen to an automatic version of the Harrier, and is expected to be launched later in September 2019. Just like Harier, Tata Nexon JTP will also be paired with  the 2.0-litre diesel engine having a 6-speed automatic transmission sourced from Hyundai. 

Tata H7X
Tata is working on a longer version of the Harrier which is Tata H7X, that would get three-row, packed with 7-seats set-up and it is expected to be  launch in end 2019. It will be based on the same platform as the Harrier, however, will get a longer footprint. Furthermore, the H7X will also be differentiated in terms of  looks in comparison to Harrier as it would get a straighter roofline. Whereas, Engine and transmission options of the car is expected to remain similar to the Harrier.

Tata 45X
Tata also showcased the 45X premium hatchback at the 2018 Auto Expo and it is expected to be launched in Early 2020. It is being known that, Tata 45X will be the first premium hatchback from the company, based on the Advanced Modular Platform (AMP). The car is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a turbocharged diesel engine of 1.5-litre.
