Tata Harrier is a great-looking SUV and now it has acquired a newer, more stylish, avatar! Tata Harrier is set to get an electric sunroof as an accessory through Tata Motors Genuine Accessories (TMGA), the car maker has confirmed through an official statement. Tata Motors said that both existing and new Harrier buyers can avail this service by visiting the nearest Tata Motors dealership. In a statement released on Monday evening, Tata Motors said that the electric sunroof would cost the customers Rs 95,100 and they will have to pay the installation charges additionally. This should take the overall cost of the sunroof to around Rs 1 lakh.

The electric sunroof for the Harrier will be manufactured by Webasto and will come with a two year warranty from the date of installation. 

"The Harrier Electric Sunroof H-300, manufactured by Webasto - a market leader that has developed and produced sunroofs for the automotive industry for more than 60 years, is installed by trained experts from Webasto to ensure seamless quality, and comes with a 2 year warranty from the date of installation," Tata Motors added.

The company claims that the H-300 sunroof which will be used on the Harrier will offers a drought-free fresh air experience while creating a pleasant and bright vehicle interior. It said that the sunroof comes with a tinted protective Venus glass that deflects the UV radiation and sun rays regardless of the amount of incoming light. 

"This latest introduction from Tata Motors promises to be a much sought after feature among the Harrier customers," it added.
