Skoda Superb is the market leader in the premium sedan section in India, far ahead of its competitors Ford Mustang, Toyota Camry and Volkswagen Passat, the carmaker said while announcing its launch. The launch of Superb Sportsline sedan is seen as a strategy to revive the brand ahead of the festive season, ETAuto reported.

"The #SKODA #SUPERBSPORTLINE comes equipped with glossy black fifth door spoiler and rear diffuser with chrome highlights," Skoda India said on its Twitter handle.  Skoda Superb Sportsline has a three-spoke SuperSport multifunction steering wheel with paddle-shift, black perforated leather and silver stitching, putting everything you need on your drive at your fingertips, Skoda India said on Twitter.

Skoda Superb Sportsline will be available with two engine options – 1.8 TSI (AT) and 2.0 TDI (AT) with mileage of 14.81kmpl and 18.66kmpl, respectively, the report said.
