Popular motorcycle manufacturer, Royal Enfield has increased the prices of its motorcycles in the country this month. The bike maker has hiked prices on its famous 350-500 cc bike range by up to ₹ 1500. However, Royal Enfield has not yet announced the price hike officially, but the bike dealers are selling the new bike models at new prices from this month. The price hikes will apply to all models like the Bullet 350 and 500, Classic 350 and 500 as well as the new Himalayan. However, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 remain will remain same at the prices. (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).

While no reasons specified so far, for the price hike by the company. However, an increase in factory cost could possible the reason of price hike as per some experts. The company is already planning to introduce a dual-channel ABS since August, 2018 and except the Bullet 350, all the current models are coming with the safety feature. 

With the updated price range, now the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be sold at Rs 1.34 lakh, Classic 350 ABS at Rs 1.53 lakh and Classic 350 ABS at Rs 1.63 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).  The Royal Enfield Himalayan ABS is available for Rs 1.80 lakh. While the Interceptor 650 continues to be sold at Rs 2.49 lakh and the Continental GT 650 is available at Rs 2.64 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). 

Meanwhile, there are rumors that the company will bring a new special edition motorcycle in 2019. Expected to be called as the Trials edition, the special edition motorcycle based on the platform of Bullet 350 and 500. It was also spotted testing and is expected to be a scrambler-style version of the classic Royal Enfield bike. 

A launch date for the new offering is yet to be confirmed, but expect the bike to arrive sometime later this year.
