Prices of all new Hyundai Santro, which will be launched on October 23, 2018, have been leaked by a Hyundai car dealer, according to reports. The pre-bookings for the new car have already been open at all Hyundai dealerships across the country, and the Korean auto firm has stated that the first 50,000 people who will pre-book it before the launch date will have a special, introductory price.

According to several auto websites, the prices of the all-new Santro will start from Rs 3.87 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi0, making it cheaper than its main rival Maruti WagonR, whose prices start from Rs. 4.31 lakhs. 

The prices of different variants, as per auto sites, is given below for the all new Hyundai Santro, which will be available in petrol as well as CNG-petrol dual fuel options. The prices of these models are:

Santro DLite: Rs 3.87 Lakh
Santro Era: Rs 4.12 Lakh
Santro Magna: Rs 4.48 Lakh
Santro Magna AMT: Rs 4.87 Lakh
Santro Sportz: Rs 4.78 Lakh
Santro Sportz AMT: Rs 5.20 Lakh
Santro Asta: Rs 5.29 Lakh
Santro Magna CNG: Rs 5.00 Lakh
Santro Sportz CNG: Rs 5.35 Lakh

Notably, the petrol engine of the new car is a 1.1 liter-4 cylinder unit like the old i10. The new car will reportedly make 69 PS of peak power and 99 Nm of peak torque when powered by petrol. This feature will make it more powerful than the Maruti WagonR.

The CNG variant, however, will make 57 Bhp-77 Nm, besides falunting a 5 speed manual gearbox as standard along with an option of a 5 speed automated manual transmission (AMT). This new car will be the first Hyundai car to feature an AMT unit, which will equip the vehicle with electric actuators instead of mechanical actuators that is the norm on other AMT cars being sold in India.

Further, it will also have many first-in-segment features like touchscreen infotainment system, flaunting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The rear AC blower will be another leading feature that none of new Hyundai Santro's competitors presently offer.

If we talk about safety feaures, the new Santro will sport a driver airbag, ABS+EBD, speed alert system, seatbelt reminder, reverse parking sensors and ISOFIX child seat provision across all its variants.

Notably, higher variants will also get the passenger airbag as a key safety feature addition.
