It seems Hyundai VENUE has entrenched itself in the compact SUV segment! Creating a milestone, Hyundai Venue has clocked 50,000 bookings, that too within just 60 days of its launch. Hyundai has already delivered 18,000 cars since its launch. Tagged as  India’s first fully connected SUV, VENUE comes with Hyundai's Blue Link Technology.

Commenting on the milestone, Vikas Jain, National Sales Head, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, "We are extremely overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response and milestone created by VENUE with 50,000 bookings within sixty days of launch."

Jain further adds, "We are glad that Indian customers have shown their faith in the Blue Link Connected Technology as out of the total VENUE delivered so far, over 55% of the cars are Blue Link Enabled Variant. Out of the 50,000 bookings, over 35% of customers have preferred the Hyundai’s in house Best in Segment -DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) Technology.”

Hyundai has 21% SUV market share

“Our SUV market share is 21% with the combined sales of VENUE, CRETA and TUCSON,” Jain concluded.

Undoubtedly, the compact SUV segment is the fastest-growing vertical in the domestic auto market, and keeping the same in mind to tap the potential customers, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) on had made an official entry in the compact SUV segment by launching VENUE. The prices of Hyundai VENUE suggest that the South Korean automotive giant is leaving no stone unturned to leave a noticeable mark of its foray into the high-selling compact SUV segment. Hyundai VENUE is priced in the range of Rs 6.5-11.1 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
