Maruti Suzuki India October 2021 Sales: Maruti Suzuki India Limited posted total sales of 138,335 units in October 2021. Total sales in the month include domestic sales of 112,788 units, sales to other OEM of 4,225 units and its highest ever monthly exports of 21,322 units.

While the shortage of electronic components continued to affect the production of vehicles during the month, the company took all possible measures to minimise the impact. Accordingly, the company sold more vehicles than the sales volume expected at the start of the month.

Maruti Suzuki's mini passenger vehicles sales, which include models such as Alto, S-Presso, in October 2021 stood at 21,831 units, compared to 28,462 units in the corresponding month last year, the company announced. The sales of compact passenger vehicles including models such as WagonR, Swift, Celerio, Ignis, Baleno, Dzire, Tour S, stood at 48,690 units last month, against 95,067 units in the year-ago period.

Maruti Suzuki's passenger vehicles sales in October 2021 stood at 71,590 units, compared to 124,951 units in the corresponding month last year, the company announced.

Maruti’s total domestic sales, including passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles (LCV) stood at 112,788 units, compared to 166,825 units in the corresponding month last year. The total domestic passenger vehicles sold in October stood at 108,991 units, against 163,656 units in the year-ago period.

Maruti's total sales, including total domestic sales and export, stood at 138,335 units, compared to 182,448 units in the corresponding month last year. The total export sales in October stood at 21,322 units, against 9,586 units in the year-ago period.

The company on 30th October informed the market that it is expecting an adverse impact on vehicle production in the month of November 2021 in both Haryana and its contract manufacturing company. This is owing to a supply constraint of electronic components due to the semiconductor shortage situation, Suzuki Motor Gujarat Private Limited (SMG) in Gujarat has informed.
