Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara: Maruti Suzuki on Wednesday unveiled its mid-sized SUV Grand Vitara in India. It is a new breed of SUVs. The car has a fuel efficiency of 27.97 km/l which makes it India’s most efficient.

The company claimed that the new Grand Vitara can run 1200 km in one full tank of fuel.

The car comes with 40+ connected features including control of air-conditioning, unlocking doors, getting real-time vehicle status, security and safety alerts, and more

The launch event started at 12:00 PM. The event was live-streamed online on Maruti Suzuki's official YouTube channel as well as it was also watched on the official social media handles of Maruti Suzuki Nexa.

"With Grand Vitara, we usher a new era of SUVs. #GrandVitara is not just one model, but a range of SUV variants to match our customers’ style and requirement,” said Hisashi Takeuchi, MD & CEO of Maruti Suzuki.

According to the company, the new Grand Vitara is powered by the revolutionary self-charging Intelligent Electric Hybrid technology. It is also equipped with the Suzuki AllGrip Technology.

Last Week, the company had commenced bookings for its vehicle 'Grand Vitara'. Customers can book the SUV with an initial payment of Rs 11,000.
