Automotive giant Maruti Suzuki India has announced that its MPV Ertiga is now BS 6 compliant. The BSVI Next Gen Ertiga petrol comes nearly seven months before the implementation date of BSVI regulations. Noteworthy, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is the sixth car from its portfolio to become BSVI compliant. With the introduction of BSVI petrol option in Ertiga, Maruti Suzuki offers six BSVI compliant models – Alto, WagonR, Swift, Baleno and Dzire.

The BSVI Next Gen Ertiga petrol will be available at a starting price of Rs. 7,54,689/- lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.

Announcing about Maruti Suzuki Ertiga BS 6, the auto maker said, "The availability of the BSVI variants on these large volume models several months ahead of the mandated date reflects Maruti Suzuki’s commitment towards environment friendly vehicles."
