Automobile giants Maruti Suzuki India, Mahindra & Mahindra, and luxury car manufacturer Audi are stepping up to aid customers in the cyclone and flood-hit regions of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

In an official statement, Maruti Suzuki India revealed its collaborative efforts with dealer partners to provide support in the affected areas. As soon as news of cyclone 'Michaung' emerged, the company took proactive measures by sending 700,000 SMS alerts to customers, outlining precautionary steps to safeguard their vehicles ahead of the cyclone's impact.

Maruti Suzuki India further disclosed its deployment of 46 tow trucks from nearby cities, activation of 34 roadside assistance vehicles for swift response, enhancement of spare parts inventory for immediate availability, and coordination with insurance companies for expedited claim processing and settlements.

Mahindra & Mahindra, on its part, announced complimentary roadside assistance, no-cost inspection, and damage assessment, along with financial relief through special discounts for customers in the affected areas.

Audi, the luxury car maker, declared a round-the-clock complimentary roadside assistance program for customer cars affected by the floods resulting from cyclone Michaung in Chennai. Audi India Head, Balbir Singh Dhillon, emphasized the brand's commitment to assisting customers in the face of the unprecedented challenges faced by the city of Chennai.
