Mahindra Auto October 2021 Sales: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), one of India’s leading automotive companies, today announced that its overall auto sales, including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and exports, for the month of October 2021 stood at 41,908 vehicles.

In the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold 20,034 vehicles in October 2021. The Passenger Vehicles segment, which includes UVs, Cars and Vans, sold 20,130 vehicles in October 2021.

Exports for the month of October 2021 were at 3,174 vehicles, against 2,021 in the same month last year, an increase of 13 per cent.

According to Veejay Nakra, Chief Executive Officer, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., “Demand for vehicles across our product portfolio remains robust. We have received an unprecedented response for the XUV700 and as per our commitment, we have commenced deliveries of the petrol variant to customers."

He further added: "Exports remain strong with a 57% increase. The supply chain issues around semi-conductor related parts continues to be dynamic as we focus on managing the situation in the short term.”

The Passenger Vehicles segment, which includes UVs, Cars and Vans, sold 20,130 vehicles in October 2021, against 18,622 vehicles same month last year, which is an increase of 8 per cent.

The domestic sales include sales made in subsidiary company Mahindra Electric Mobility. The commercial vehicles segment sold 15,077 vehicles in October 2021, against 20,598 vehicles same month last year.

The 3-wheelers including electric 3Ws segment sold 3,527 vehicles in October 2021, against 3,118 vehicles same month last year.
