Toyota group luxury automobile maker Lexus today launched its flagship Lexus LX 570 SUV priced at Rs 2.33 crore in India. The car is powered with a 5.7-litre V8 petrol engine and develops  530 Nm of peak torque. The booking for the car has started in all the dealership across India. Until now, the SUV was only available with the diesel engine in the  450d variant. The 2018 LX 570 also introduces third-row seating which can transform easily into additional cargo space if needed, the company said.

The vehicle has a host of luxury features such as the Mark Levinson reference surround sound system with 19 speakers and high-definition 11.6-inch liquid crystal AI (Artificial Intelligence) displays for rear seats, among others. 

Although the new Lexus LX 570 shares its base with Toyota Land Cruiser 200 but the SUV stands out from others by its sophisticated looks. With its full-LED headlamps and distinctive grille, the company has given a distinctive look to the car.

Lexus India Chairman N Raja said in a statement, "The addition of the LX 570 to our line-up in India offers our guests a striking vehicle with a commanding presence on the road, and exceptional ride quality to match."

The car has a 7-seater arrangement and comes with a two-tone colour theme inside and cool seats. The upholstery is made of pure leather. In order to create a perfect cabin temperature, the SUV has 14 sensors and also has wireless charging and a Heads-up display.

A big touchscreen infotainment system and for the passengers, rear entertainment screens are also present. The other add-ons in this new SUV are flared wheel arches and wraparound LED tail lights.
