Notably, the diesel models of Carens also offer the lowest acquisition costs, providing exceptional value for discerning customers. Furthermore, Carens Diesel has been commended for its ability to minimise fuel costs, solidifying its reputation as a premium family car option with an attractive value proposition.

Similarly, Kia Seltos has been recognised for its affordability in maintenance costs, particularly for petrol variants, offering a minimum of 17 per cent savings compared to industry norms.

Moreover, the diesel variants of Seltos share the lowest maintenance costs with another segment leader. In terms of overall total cost of ownership (TCO), the Seltos secures the second-best TCO for its diesel variant and the third-best for its petrol variant.

Adding to Kia's accolades, Frost & Sullivan previously declared in December 2023 that the Sonet offers the best maintenance cost in the Compact SUV segment, with its petrol and diesel variants showcasing maintenance costs 16 per cent and 14 per cent lower than the segment average, respectively.

Commenting on these findings, Hardeep Singh Brar, National Head Sales & Marketing, Kia India, expressed his delight, stating, "We are thrilled to be recognized by Frost & Sullivan as the makers of one of the most value-driven mobility solutions for new-age customers.

"Choosing a Kia isn't just a wise decision for today; it's an investment for the future, given its premiumness, unmatched maintenance and residual costs within their segments," he said.
