Japanese automotive giant Kawasaki globally announced two of its models, Kawasaki Ninja 500 and Kawasaki Ninja Z500, at the EICMA 2023 event in Milan, Italy, on Wednesday (November 8).

Kawasaki Ninja 500 and Z500: Key Features

Both models share a commonality in their liquid-cooled parallel twin engines, fittingly equipped with a 451cc engine. While exact powertrain details remain undisclosed, the company hinted that Ninja contains over 400 torque.

These bikes boast an LCD display as a standard feature, with the top-tier variant offering a TFT display incorporating Bluetooth connectivity and a USB-C charging port. The forthcoming release of both models is anticipated in the Indian market sometime next year.

The Ninja 500 and Z500 models will feature a parallel-twin engine platform similar to that of the recently launched Eliminator 500. Expected performance numbers include a peak power of 45.4hp at 9000 rpm and a maximum torque of 42.6Nm at 6000 rpm.

Presented at EICMA 2023, both bikes feature a slip-and-assist clutch.
