British automaker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has officially commenced road testing prototypes of its highly anticipated Range Rover Electric. Simultaneously, the company has opened a waiting list for enthusiasts eager to be among the first to pre-order this new electric vehicle (EV).
 
JLR, renowned for its Range Rover and Land Rover models, has been actively expanding its electric vehicle portfolio. The company, having already introduced various hybrid models, is now embarking on a comprehensive transition to full electric vehicles as part of its long-term electric and digital strategy.
 
JLR provided a sneak peek of Range Rover Electric in a 40-second video, emphasising its "breathtaking modernity" and a commitment to creating the "quietest and most refined Range Rover ever." Thomas Müller, Executive Director of Product Engineering at JLR, stated, "The magic ingredients that underpin the success of Range Rover remain unchanged: timeless, reductionist design, a serene cabin, and go-anywhere capability—but now offered with zero tailpipe emissions."
 
Jaguar Land Rover has already generated significant interest in Range Rover Electric, claiming it to be the most anticipated vehicle in its 53-year history. To meet this demand, the company has opened an official waiting list, allowing enthusiasts to secure a pre-order slot for what promises to be a groundbreaking addition to the Range Rover lineup.
