Jaguar Land Rover on Wednesday launched the new XF luxury sedan in India. The price of the car will start at Rs 49.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and will go up to Rs 61.85 lakh.

The company announced that the deliveries of the new car will commence on by the end of September.

The sedan comes in 3 variants – Pure, Prestige and Portfolio and will be available in both petrol and diesel versions.

The petrol version comes with a 2.0-litre 4 cylinder Turbocharged petrol engine with power of 237bhp and 340Nm torque. The all 2.0-litre 4 cylinder Ingenium diesel unit dishes out 177bhp power and 430Nm torque. Both engines come with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The second-generation Jaguar XF will compete with Volvo’s S90, as well as its German rivals – the Mercedes E-class and the BMW 5-series.

Jaguar also announced that it will soon launch its first SUV F-Pace during the festive season.
