Jeep Compass Sport Plus: Jeep Compass has been a hit in Indian car market and to add to the joy of SUV lovers, the company has launched all new Sport Plus edition. The new model has been launched in India at Rs 15.99 lakh for the petrol version and Rs 16.99 lakh for the diesel one (ex-showroom, pan-India). The new Compass Sport Plus costs Rs 59,000 more than the existing sports edition. While the Sports Plus diesel variant costs about Rs 38,000 more than the existing one. The car has received some cosmetic changes like new exteriors, more equipment and some other additional features.

On the exterior, the car has 16-inch silver alloy wheels, black roof rails and a Sport Plus badge on the tailgate. The rear windshield and tops of the doors also get black cladding. Rear parking sensors, which aren't offered on the base Sport variant, are also standard.

Jeep Compass Sport Plus: Interiors

On the inside, the Compass Sport Plus has tech loaded features like dual-zone climate control, which can also be controlled via the 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display. However, the car does not have features like key-less entry and go, power folding wing mirrors, a larger 7.0-inch infotainment screen and the 17-inch alloy wheels. While the rest of the features have been kept same in this edition as well.

On the mechanical aspects, the Compass Sport Plus is kept same as the base variant as it has the same 163hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol and 173hp, 2.0-litre diesel, both of which come with a 6-speed manual as regular. 

As far as the price of the Jeep Compass is concerned, the price bracket of Rs 15 lakh will have a tough competition from rivals like, Tata Harrier and Hyundai Creta.
