Jaguar Land Rover India (JLRIL) has announced the start of local manufacturing of its first performance SUV, the F-PACE. The 2018 model, available in the Prestige variant, will come with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 60.02 lakh.

The locally manufactured 2018 Model Year F-PACE is the 6th model from Jaguar Land Rover product portfolio to be locally manufactured in India.

“The launch of the locally manufactured F-PACE signifies another milestone in our continued commitment and efforts towards ‘Make in India’ policy of the Government of India,” Rohit Suri, MD & president, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd, said on Tuesday.

Available in the 2.0 litre diesel prestige derivative, F-Pace will reportedly come loaded with features such as Adaptive LED Headlights, Rear Recline seats, Four-Zone Climate Control, 25.91 cm (10.2) Touch Screen, Wi-Fi Hotspot & Pro Services, Activity Key among others.

With an aggressive sportscar inspired design, the locally assembled five-seater SUV will have advanced features including adaptive LED headlights, activity key, a Wi-Fi hotspot and 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 380W Meridian sound system and GPS navigation.
