South Korean automaker Hyundai is all set to launch the Hyundai Creta facelift in the month of May. However, authorised Hyundai dealerships in Delhi and Jaipur have already started accepting bookings for the Creta facelift at an upfront amount ranging from Rs 11,000 to Rs 51,000, which is reportedly refundable. After launch, price changes, if any, are likely to be nominal. The expected price of the Hyundai Creta facelift is likely to start at Rs 9.5 - 10 lakh, ex-showroom.

Hyundai launched the premium compact SUV in 2015. According to India Today, the upcoming Hyundai Creta will receive minor cosmetic changes. The reworked radiator grille will also get a new chrome surround. The bumper is reworked as well. On the rear, the Creta will get new reworked tail lamps and a redesigned bumper. The upcoming new Creta is also likely to get a sunroof feature. This will make Creta the first SUV to get this feature in the segment. 

The new Hyundai Creta facelift will be powered by the same 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre turbocharged diesel engines. This churns out 89bhp/220Nm and 126bhp/260Nm.  The car also comes with a 1.6-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit which belts out 122bhp and 151Nm of torque, all mated to 6-speed manual gearboxes. With a 6-speed automatic transmission, the SUV has larger engine versions (petrol and diesel.)
