Hyundai Motor India has reported a significant milestone, surpassing the sale of over 500,000 Bluelink connected cars within a four-year period. The surge in connected car adoption has risen from 5% in 2019 to an impressive 30% in 2023.

Unsoo Kim, MD & CEO of Hyundai Motor India, expressed, "Bluelink has experienced substantial growth in adoption among Hyundai customers, highlighting the evolving preference for vehicles equipped with advanced connectivity features." He added, "This notable expansion reflects the deep trust customers have placed in Bluelink technology, offering seamless connectivity for all journeys."

Bluelink, introduced in India in 2019, is an AI-based technology featuring an inbuilt SIM card and a 24x7 call center, facilitating the smooth exchange of crucial information between a car and its owner. The platform boasts over 60 connected functions, including proactive alerts, SOS/emergency assistance, auto-crash notification, trip history, remote vehicle status, virtual reality, value-added services, and more.

Last month, Hyundai launched the 'Samarth' initiative in India, aligning with the global vision of 'Progress for Humanity.' This initiative aims to raise awareness and empower people with disabilities, contributing to Hyundai's commitment to creating a more inclusive and progressive world through the transformative power of mobility.
