Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has announced the crossing of a major milestone in the western region of India. Solidifying its position as the preferred choice for two-wheeler enthusiasts, HMSI has now garnered the trust of over 15 million customers.

Setting new benchmarks consistently, HMSI took over 17 years to reach the first 10 million customers in the western states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Goa. The subsequent 5 million customers joined the HMSI family in just under 6 years.

This remarkable growth is attributed to an increased number of touchpoints, expansion of product portfolios like RedWing and BigWing, reliable customer service, and strengthened customer connections.

Fulfilling the rising demand for personal mobility, HMSI continues to lead scooterization in the region with a commanding 49% market share, with the Honda Activa being the top-selling model.

The company holds an overall market share of 36.4% in the western two-wheeler market, including scooters and motorcycles.

In response to the growing trend of online interactions, HMSI has intensified its digital marketing efforts to provide a seamless experience for customers, both online and at dealerships.

HMSI's footprint in Western India includes an extensive network of over 1100 touchpoints across Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Goa.
