From emission to fuel-efficiency scandals, automobile companies today are too often embroiled in several such scandals.

What began with Volkswagen admitting to cheating on emission tests in September last year, has now snowballed into companies such as Mitsubishi Motors and Suzuki Motors admitting to manipulating fuel efficiency data.

Even Nissan in South Korea has now been allegedly implicated by the environment ministry for using a software which cheated on emission results.

It remains to be seen if there are any other automobile companies that get involved in such scandals.
