Ferrari's new luxury car Portofino, priced at $2,15,000 ($214,533), has already earned many accolades across the world. Ferrari Portofino price in India may be around Rs 3 crore. The car is replacing Ferrari California T, the current best-seller of the automaker. Reportedly, Ferrari had so far sold 11,000 units of the California T. The all-new Ferrari Portofino has been doing tours of the prominent world cities. Recently, it concluded its tour of Europe and the UK. Portofino is Ferrari's most recent V8-engined GT car.  Take a look at the key features of the luxury beast:

Design and Specifications:
The Ferrari Portofino has been awarded the 'Red Dot: Best of the Best' award for its 'ground-breaking design'. The convertible car features a retractable hardtop together with 'class-leading performance' and luggage space. You can activate the top fold even at the speed of 30mph. It takes just around 15 seconds to fold up or down.  The car features large radiator grille opening and a new LED headlight. The car boasts of a 3.9-liter  twin-turbo V8 engine and 591 brake horsepower. It can zoom zero to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds while the maximum speed is 198mph. 

Ferrari has not just upgraded the car's outside look but also has significantly approved the inside features. Inside, the car has a 10.2-inch HD display with Apple CarPlay, voice command functionality, front and rear parking cameras, navigation systems, and audio system.

The Ferrari Portofino’s all-new chassis features a significant weight saving over the California T it replaces. All the chassis and body-in-white components have been redesigned with a consequent reduction in weight despite an increase in torsional rigidity. 

"The tail design underlines the car’s sporty stance which has been further enhanced by placing the tail lights further apart. This elegant solution cleverly conceals the rear volume housing the all-new RHT which features a more lightweight design and can be raised or lowered at low speeds," reads a Ferrari description.
