Ducati launched the Monster 797 in India priced at Rs 7.77 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and the Ducati Multistrada 950 priced at Rs 12.6 lakh (ex-showroom India). These two are entry-level bikes from Ducati and are targeted towards newbie riders in India.

The Monster 797 is the most affordable motorcycle in the Monster range which includes other motorcycles such as the Monster 821 and Monster 1200. The new Multistrada, on the other hand, is placed between the Multistrada 1200 and the Multistrada Enduro.

The Ducati Monster 797 comes with a 803cc L-twin engine which dishes out a power of 76PS and 68.9Nm torque. The Ducati Multistrada 950 gets a 937cc L-twin engine that makes 115PS power and 96.2Nm torque.

The Multistrada 950 has ABS Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and four riding modes – Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro.
