Around 1 lakh old vehicles were registered after 31 December according to an ANI report.  These vehicles could not run on Delhi roads.

These vehicles will now be able to get registered in other states after being given a No Objection Certificate (NOC), the report further said.

The agency reported this citing Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot.

Initially, the government was not giving NOCs to diesel vehicles older than 10 years while petrol vehicles older than 15 years, ANI reported quoting the Minister.

Such old vehicles are now being given NOCs for them to get registered in other states.
