BMW Motorrad today launched BS6 G 310 R and G 310 GS bikes in India. The G 310 R is priced at Rs 2.45 lakh while G 310 GS will be available at Rs 2.85 lakh. Interestingly, the prices of both the models have been kept below its BS4 counterparts.  While the BS4 version of G 310 R was available at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom price) the G 310 GS used to cost Rs 3,49 lakhs.

BMW Motorrad is the motorcycle arm of German company BMW.  

While the company has made cosmetic changes in looks, the bikes are now being given for significantly less cost along with BS6 compliant engines. The company has already opened the bookings at a token price of Rs 50000. The delivery is likely to start soon.  

The company has given an upgrade on the BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS in the form of LED DRLS along with new LED head lamps. The company has also changed the taillight along with a new exhaust.

Both the bikes - BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS - are available in attractive colour options along with new graphics. The motorcycles have engines like TVS Apache RR 310. The engine capacity is 313 cc and gives 34 BHP power at 9700 RPM while a torque of 27.3 NM at 7700 RPM.
