Bajaj Auto Bike Launch: Bajaj Auto on Wednesday (July 5) launched its Triumph Speed 400X and Scrambler 400 X bikes.

While the company priced its Triumph Speed 400X bike for Rs 2.33 lakh, it has not announced Scrambler 400 X's price yet. 

The company revealed that the first 10,000 bookings of Triumph Speed 400X will get it at as low as Rs 2.23 lakh, which makes it just Rs 2,000 costlier than the top model of Royal Enfield Classic 350.
 

Engine Specifications

Both the Triumph bikes have 398 cc single-cylinder, liquid cool engines, which will generate 40hp power at 8,000 rpm and torque of 37.5Nm at 6,500 rpm. 
The engine belongs to the TR-series category and has a 6-speed gearbox.  
 

Wheel Specifications

Triumph Speed 400 has a 17-inch alloy rims with MRF Steel Brace rubber at both ends. On the other hands, Scrambler 400X has 19/17-inch alloy rims at both ends shod with the rubber of MRF Zapper Kurve.    
 

Price Range

The company has priced Triumph Speed 400 at Rs 2.33 lakh.
If we compare it with its nearest competitors of approximately the same strength, RE Intercertor 650 comes in the range from Rs 3.03 lakh to Rs 3.31 lakh, BMW G 310 R is priced at Rs 2.85 lakh, while KTM 390 Duke costs Rs 2.97 lakh.
