Auto Expo 2020: South Korean can maker Kia Motors has launched its new model Carnival at the Auto Expo 2020 (#AutoExpoOnZee). The auto major has put this new model in the Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) segment. The auto maker has launched three models of Carnival in the Indian market.

The three models of Carnival launched by Kia Motors are — Premium, Prestige and Limousine. Carnival Premium variant's ex-showroom price is Rs 24.95 lakh, Prestige variant of Carnival has the ex-showroom price of Rs 28.95 lakh while the Limousine variant of the Carnival has ex-showroom price at Rs 33.95 lakh.

Kia Motors officials present at the launch of Carnival models at Auto Expo 2020 said that 1400 bookings were received on the opening of the booking of Kia Motors Carnival. The officials went on to add that they have logged 3500 bookings to date.

While Kia Motors launched MPV, Maruti Suzuki showcased SUV FUTURO-e on the inaugural date of Auto Expo 2020. While talking to the Zee Business TV MSIL Marketing Head Shashank Srivastava said that FUTURO-e SUV has been designed and manufactured keeping 'Mission Green' in mind. He said that Maruti Suzuki India is going to manufacture near 1 million such SUV cars in the coming years. Srivastava went on to add that FUTURO-e will establish Maruti Suzuki's expertise in the future as in the coming times FUTURO-e concept will be the kind of SUV that will fuel auto market demand.

Srivastava said that there will be 23 new launches coming from Maruti and out of those 23 launches, 14 will be SUVs. He said that the electric model of WagonR will be launched in H1-2020. He said that these new launches will include Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ignis and S Cross and all these versions will be sold through NEXA dealership.

FUTURO-e has display in front of steering, which has a control panel for driver. This coupe-styled SUV will have Ambient lighting as well. This concept car has a four-seater option and it is expected to give tough competition to Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
