German car manufacturer Audi has launched the Audi Q8 e-tron and Audi Q8 Sportback models in India on Friday, August 18th. The price for the models that are decked with enhanced features begins from Rs 1.13 crore (ex-showroom). Loaded with substantial battery packs, these models offer extended driving range of 600 km (WLTP) on a single charge.

The vehicles are available in two distinct body styles: SUV and Sportback. The Audi Q8 e-tron will be sold in 9 exterior color options — Madeira Brown, Chronos Grey, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Plasma Blue, Sonera Red, Magnet Grey, Siam Seed, and Manhattan Grey. On the inside, the Q8 e-tron provides a choice of three interior colors: Okapi Brown, Pearl Beige, and Black.

Design-wise, the key features of the Audi Q8 e-tron include a sleek blacked-out front grille, a modern monochrome 2D 'Audi' logo, a redesigned front bumper with enlarged air intakes, an updated rear bumper, 20-inch alloy wheels, and other enhancements.

Within the cabin, the Audi Q8 e-tron is replete with advanced features. Notable amenities include a premium 16-speaker Bang and Olufsen sound system, ventilated front seats with massage and memory functions, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera system, a 10.1-inch primary infotainment display, and a secondary screen below it for HVAC controls and much more.

Powering the Audi Q8 e-tron is a robust 114kWh battery pack, which is capable of delivering a WLTP cycle range of 600 km. The vehicle is equipped with dual electric motors that generate 408 horsepower and 664 Nm of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 5.6 seconds. Charging options include a 22kW AC charger and support for 170kW DC fast charging.

The AC charger juices up the battery pack from 0 to 100% within 6 hours, while the DC fast charger can achieve a 10 to 80% charge in just 31 minutes. Notably, the vehicle features charging ports on both sides for added convenience.
