The refreshed Kia Seltos is set to impress with its significant updates, including a more aggressive-looking grille, redesigned LED headlamps, new bumpers, and an updated rear with new tail-lamps. The interior has also seen an upgrade with a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a redesigned center console featuring a rotary gear selector.

The 2023 Seltos will continue to have the same engine options, but it will also feature a new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, providing more power and options to the customers. It is speculated that the model will also introduce advanced features like navigation-based smart cruise control and highway driving assistance.

Honda Elevate

The upcoming Honda Elevate competes directly in the same segment as the Kia Seltos. Measuring larger in every dimension except length and boasting the highest ground clearance in the segment, the Elevate also offers competitive performance with its 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. The Seltos, however, sets itself apart with its modern, refined design and well-rounded performance, offering a new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, in addition to the existing petrol and diesel options.

Hyundai Creta

The Hyundai Creta is another key competitor to the Kia Seltos despite sharing the same platform. Both vehicles offer similar powertrains, yet the Seltos pulls ahead with its advanced features like navigation-based smart cruise control and highway driving assistance, which are missing in the Creta. Many users also prefer the Seltos’s design to that of the Creta, though that is a matter of subjectivity.

Volkswagen Taigun

The Volkswagen Taigun rivals the Kia Seltos with its European design and powertrain options. The Seltos has a new 1.5L turbo-petrol engine and advanced features, such as the updated twin 10.25-inch screen setup and the ADAS. Though, Taigun’s driving performance will be hard to beat for the new Seltos.
