Nickel recovered on fresh demand from alloy industries.

Tin slipped by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,480 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,485 and brass sheet cuttings slid by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 356 as against Rs 360 previously.

Brass utensils scrap went down by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 341 from Rs 344 and zinc edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 236 as compared to Rs 238 yesterday.

Lead softened by a rupee per kg to Rs 164.

However, nickel rebounded by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 980 as against Rs 975 previously.
