Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu today said he met top business leaders of companies, including H&M and AstraZeneca, in Stockholm and discussed investment opportunities in India.

"Met H&M team led by Mr Fredrik Olsson, CEO. Discussions on future collaborations in skill development, fashion design, sourcing from India," Prabhu said in a series of tweets.

He discussed with Leif Johansson, the Chairman of AstraZeneca ways to bring advanced technology in the country in sectors such as biotech, pharma and telecom.

Prabhu also held meeting with Jan Secher, President and CEO, Perstorp.

"Discussed possibilities of setting up greenfield chemicals manufacturing facility in India," he added.

The minister is visiting Stockholm for the 'Make in India: Sweden 2017' event organised by the ministry.

According to a tweet by Make in India, a twitter handle managed by the ministry, India and Sweden aim to boost bilateral economic ties to USD 5 billion by 2017. The two-way trade was USD 2.5 billion in 2014-15.
