From Maharashtra, he will travel to Karnataka and attend public programmes and rallies in the poll-bound state.
The prime minister will reach Mumbai tomorrow afternoon and attend a function to mark the ground-breaking ceremony of Navi Mumbai International Airport.
The statement said he will dedicate to the nation the fourth container terminal at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port.
Modi will also deliver the inaugural address at the Global Investors' Summit - "Magnetic Maharashtra: Convergence 2018".
He will inaugurate the Wadhwani Institute for Artificial Intelligence at the University of Mumbai.
The prime minister will later leave for Mysuru in Karnataka.
On February 19, he will address via video conferencing the World Conference on Information Technology, being held in Hyderabad.
He will also visit Shravanabelagola for the Bahubali Mahamasthakabhisheka Mahotsava.
At a function at the Mysuru Railway Station, he will dedicate to the nation, the electrified Mysuru-Bengaluru railway line..
He will flag off the Palace Queen Humsafar Express between Mysuru and Udaipur, besides addressing a public meeting in Mysuru later in the day.
