Marg ERP is training youths through Marg Academy under its national skill development program.

The academy has placed 2,500 students in the last six months after training them to operate its inventory and accounting business solutions, it said.

Rising IT spending driven by the need to ensure regulatory compliance and increasing complexities of business have led to the increase in demand for skilled professionals in the sector, Marg said in a release.

"Marg is due to place 1,500 students in the next few months and has set for itself, an ambitious target of 1,500 more placements by the end of 2018," it said, adding that it would be doubling the number of academic training centres to 1,000 by the year-end.

The release further said Marg is planning to raise Rs 100 crore via equity dilution. The fund will be used mainly for expansion and infrastructure development.
