Kerala allots 70 cents of land for UAE consulate
The Kerala government today decided to assign 70 cents of land on 90 years lease to the UAE Consulate for the construction of a permanent building for its office functioning here.
A decision in this regard was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan here.
The land would be given at Perrorkada in the city, an official release said.
The decision comes a day after Kerala promised land for UAE during the chief minister's meeting with visiting Sharjah ruler and UAE supreme council member Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammed Al Qasimi here.
