The delegation also invited key industries from Ahmedabad to participate in "Vendor Development and Investors Summit 2017" to be held between November 23 to 24 here.

The delegation also discussed industry leaders' interest in expanding their business in Karnataka and had one-to-one meetings with 12 prominent companies covering various sectors, a senior official said.

"During the meetings, we discussed with the companies the support and facilitation provided by our government for implementation of their projects in Karnataka," Karnataka Vocational Training and Skill Development Corporation Director (Employment and Training) Ashraful Hasan said in a statement here.

More than 100 industry representatives and prospective investors participated in the road show held recently, he said.

Hasan also outlined the potential for investments in various sectors including Aerospace and Defence Equipment Manufacturing, Automobiles, Auto components and Electric Vehicles Manufacturing, among other things.
