Industrial oils drop in listless trade

Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial dropped in an otherwise listless Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following lower industrial demand.

Groundnut oil, refined palmolein and linseeds oil held stable in absence of any worthwhile buying activity.

In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold weakened further by Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 4,475 from Friday's close Rs 4,500 and castoroil commercial edged down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 925 as against Rs 930 yesterday.

Linseeds oil ended unaltered by Rs 750 per 10kg.

Moving to the edible segment, groundnut oil and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 850 per 10kg and Rs 615 per 10kg respectively.
