Indias August vegoil imports up 8 percent at 1.4 million tonnes: trade body
India`s vegoil imports in August rose 8 percent to 1.4 million tonnes from a year ago, a trade body said on Tuesday.
The country`s imports of palm oil in August stood at 868,744 tonnes, while soyoil imports were 289,746 tonnes, the Solvent Extractors` Association of India said in a statement.
