Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also settled at overnight levels in thin trade.

Marketmen said negligible demand due to off-season along with low arrivals in view of bad weather conditions caused the steadiness in gur prices.

Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal): Gur chakku Rs 3,300-3,400, pedi Rs 3,300-3,400, dhayya Rs 3,500-3,600 and shakkar Rs 3,600-3,700.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,550-2,600, chakku Rs 2,850-3,000, khurpa NA and Ladoo NA.

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,000-3,100 and dhayya NA.
