Groundnut oil recovers on fresh demand

Groundnut oil prices recovered at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following fresh demand from stockists and retailers.

Elsewhere, refined palmolein also gained due to good demand from retail buyers.

Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial also firmed up owing to sustained demand from soaps and shippers industries.

While, linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying.

In the edible section, groundnut oil moved up by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 880 from last Saturday's close Rs 870 and refined palmolein also edged up by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 645 as against Rs 642, previously.

In the non-edible segment, castorseed bold rose by Rs 20 per 100kg to Rs 4,505 as against Rs 4,485 last weekends and castoroil commercial edged up by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 931 as compared Rs 927.

Linseeds oil ended unaltered at Rs 750 per 10kg.
