Gayatri Projects bags Rs 1,483-crore order in Telangana
Gayatri Projects has bagged a Rs 1,483-crore irrigation project in Telangana.
"Gayatri Projects has won a Rs 1,483-crore irrigation project for the formation of Sri Komaravelli Mallanna Sagar Reservoir with a capacity of 50 TMC (thousand million cubic feet)," Gayatri Projects said in a BSE filing today.
The order is part of Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation project.
"This project is set to irrigate 18.47 lakh acres of land in various districts of Telangana and provide major boost to water intensive crops such as sugarcane and banana," the company added.
Stock of Gayatri Projects was trading at Rs 187.45, up 1.13 per cent, from the previous close on the BSE.
