Transporters said easy availability of trucks coupled with tight cargo movements, mainly pulled down freight rates for some destinations.

Delhi to Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Bengaluru freight rates moved down by Rs 1000 each to Rs 57,000, Rs 59,000 and Rs 63,000.

Rates to Puducherry, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Goa and Patna freight rates also dropped by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 68,000, Rs 73,000, Rs 83,000, Rs 60,000 and Rs 26,500.
