"The chamber is not only focused on just development of the industry but also to provide and initiate platforms that encourage development of youths, who are not only the future of business, economy and society but also of the nation," BCC&I Director General Subhodip Ghosh said.

He was speaking at the BCC&I-organised Inter-College Technology Quiz Fest near here.

Participants from IIT-Kharagpur emerged as the winners, who received a prize money of Rs 40,000.

"Through quizzing sessions, the students get to exercise their aptitude and smartness in implementing their knowledge and accumulated intellect in a spirit of competitiveness, application and industrial readiness...," said Simarpreet Singh, Director of the JIS Group, which co-organised the event.
