Weakening trend in futures market and fresh arrivals from producing regions also put pressure on select spices.

Coriander and turmeric prices drifted lower by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 5,900-12,500 and Rs 8,400-11,500 per quintal, respectively.

Marketmen said muted demand from retailers and stockists against increased arrivals from producing regions, mainly pulled down coriander and turmeric prices.
