At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in November month advanced by Rs 30.70, or 3 per cent, to Rs 1,056.10 per kg, in a business turnover of 65 lots.

Likewise, the spice for delivery in far-month December increased by Rs 13.10, or 1.27 per cent, to Rs 1,045.10 per kg with trading volume of just 3 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in cardamom prices in futures trade to widening of positions by participants, tracking a firm trend at the spot markets and pick up in export demand.
